الرقص الشرقي أو مايسمى بالرقص العربي أحيانا أو الرقص البلدي، وهو نوع من الرقص يعتمد على تحريك واستخدام منطقة الجذع في الجسم ينحصر غالبا بالنساء، هذا الرقص غير محدد الأصل بطريقة علمية، ولكن من الواضح من ملابس الراقصات المتخصصات والحلي والأكسسوارات التي يرتدينها إن أصل هذا الرقص من مصر لأنه كان يقام هذا الرقص في الحضارة الفرعونية ولكن جرى تغيير حركاته لتتناسب مع الايقاع الشائع في موسيقى الشرق الاوسط
